SOC 2 Associate Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• The Manager's position involves overseeing client engagements and internal initiatives associated with SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 examinations, HIPAA assessments, and external audits of various security and privacy frameworks/standards.

• Provides auditing services focused on security, compliance, and attestation.

• Manages the daily operations of IT audit engagements, including SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, and SOC for cybersecurity.

• Assesses the design and efficiency of technology controls.

• Identifies and reports IT audit findings to management.

• Assists in pinpointing opportunities for performance enhancements for designated clients.

• Engages in effective communication with clients and team members.

• Participates in client meetings and builds client relationships through proactive dialogue.

• Oversees and manages the performance of IT audit staff involved in assigned engagements.

• Delivers weekly status updates to management.

• Proactively informs management about any potential issues.

• Provides training to the IT audit team staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience conducting IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or comparable audit/consulting firm.

• Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation tools (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is advantageous.

• Candidates should possess an active certification or be in the process of obtaining CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification.

• Proficiency in English is required; bilingual candidates are preferred.
