This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +1 more state.
β’ Investigate potential insurance fraud and perform thorough case evaluations.
β’ Manage intricate Auto Bodily Injury fraud investigations, encompassing staged accidents, claim misrepresentation, and organized fraud schemes.
β’ Assist in investigations related to Homeowners claims, focusing on roof, wind, flood, and other weather-related damages.
β’ Input SIU claim information into various SIU platforms.
β’ Review investigations with fraud outcomes to determine the appropriateness of denials.
β’ Update case files with investigation results and return them to MCO for further processing when fraud is not confirmed or evidence is lacking.
β’ Perform advanced online data searches, research, and assessments.
β’ Execute detailed site inspections at body shops, medical facilities, loss sites, and similar locations.
β’ Conduct scene investigations and surveillance as necessary.
β’ Verify information gathered through investigations and pursue potential leads.
β’ Summarize documentation and enter notes in the claim system to record evaluations and decisions.
β’ Utilize analytical tools and SIU field intelligence to pinpoint complex claims and substantiate fraud and damages evidence.
β’ Research and address intricate customer communications, concerns, disputes, and issues.
β’ Proven SIU Investigator with multiple years of experience in a Special Investigations Unit at an insurance carrier.
β’ Solid background in claims management.
β’ Strong analytical and investigative capabilities.
β’ Excellent decision-making skills.
β’ Ability to oversee high-impact cases from inception to resolution.
β’ Experience with Auto Bodily Injury investigations.
β’ Background in supporting Homeowners claims, including investigations related to roof, wind, and flood damage.
β’ Critical thinking skills.
β’ Proficient in decision making.
β’ Skilled in evidence collection.
β’ Expertise in fraud investigations.
β’ Knowledge of insurance claims processes.
β’ Investigative skills.
β’ Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.
β’ Applicants holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and cannot maintain outside appointments during employment.
β’ Applicants with a resident producer license seeking an adjuster position must relinquish that license when instructed.
β’ A work-from-home setup requires a dedicated private workspace, suitable desk and seating, and reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
