Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the safe, timely, and precise installation and maintenance of our products.

• Achieve and manage operational targets and deadlines, including service labor per hour, first time right, and 5S standards, among others.

• Adhere to internal processes and procedures as well as comply with all local and federally mandated regulations, including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.

• Ensure proper inventory levels of parts and supplies in company service vehicles while maintaining accurate paperwork standards.

• Engage with customers to verify that product performance aligns with their expectations.

• Deliver efficient and professional service to customers’ needs, providing training and coaching on the system when necessary.

• Utilize iPhone applications to carry out various functions essential to the role (e.g., parts management, customer notes, clocking in/out).

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

• This role necessitates the operation of a DOT-regulated vehicle, and candidates must pass a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug screening.

• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

• Competence in resolving customer issues related to installation and service.

• Capability to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical tasks.

• Strong focus on customer service and the ability to handle challenging customer situations positively.

• Must comply with Restaurant Technologies’ Fleet Safety standards and maintain a clean driving record.

• Ability to manually lift 50 pounds.

• Unrestricted capability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach out.

• Ability to ascend and descend a ladder up to 20 feet high.
