Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Commission the Solbank Storage Power Block for CSI Energy Storage.

• Conduct both preventative and corrective maintenance on Storage Power Blocks to fulfill warranty obligations.

• Fulfill obligations under the Long Term Service Agreement for BESS equipment, which includes energy storage cabinets, power conversion stations, ring main units/switchgear, transformers, SCADA, and networking devices.

• Deliver onsite diagnostics, troubleshooting, and hands-on assistance to ensure equipment is maintained, meeting availability and capacity guarantees.

• Supervise and oversee subcontractors on site as necessary.

• Aid in the creation of standard operating procedures and operational processes.

• Timely completion of work order documentation.

• Keep an accurate inventory of spare parts.

• Execute LOTO and switching procedures as required.

• Provide client training during the commissioning phase.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations and policies.

• Travel to and operate at project sites across the United States.

• Undertake other assigned responsibilities and projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Electrical Technician.

• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in a service setting, ideally in the renewable energy sector.

• OSHA 30 Certified; OSHA 10 certification is acceptable if OSHA 30 is secured shortly after hiring.

• Prior training and knowledge of inverters.

• Experience with SCADA systems.

• Familiarity with general and national codes, medium-voltage power systems, and energy-storage system applications is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• Previous experience with CMMS software is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.

• Trained in First Aid.

• Willingness to travel to regional locations as necessary, over 50% of the time.
