This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Exhibits comprehensive technical expertise regarding jobs, sites, and turbine operations while consistently interacting with local technicians.
• Fully assumes responsibility for the designated sub-area and oversees overall performance within that area.
• Upholds a strong customer-centric approach by fostering quality behavior, accountability, and an efficient workforce.
• Maintains a robust safety and quality mindset among Vestas teams and external service providers at all times.
• Conducts daily management activities for the area to assess progress, safety, and quality.
• Confirms that all subcontractor safety documentation and equipment certifications are valid and current.
• Ensures that approved lifting plans and valid Permits to Work are established prior to task execution.
• Serves as a role model for technicians by showcasing leadership, professionalism, and safe working practices.
• Offers coaching and leadership to technicians to enhance skills, performance, and accountability.
• Encourages responsibility and accountability for turbine operations and site activities.
• Inspires higher performance expectations by establishing clear goals and acknowledging achievements or growth opportunities.
• Verifies that service orders and work instructions are comprehensively understood by technicians before work commences.
• Carries out all tasks as planned and strictly in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• A C License would be an advantage.
• Completed technical training in electro technology or mechanics.
• Experience in remote team management.
• Prior experience in a technology company or administrative role.
• Knowledge of the Renewable/Wind Energy Market is preferred but not essential.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Willingness to go above and beyond to support the team.
