SEO Content Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create clear, engaging, and accurate content across Releaf’s platforms, including website copy, blog posts, patient narratives, and PR materials, optimized for search visibility and reader assistance.

• Follow content briefs, conducting thorough research on each topic to ensure the accuracy, credibility, and reliability of your work.

• Implement on-page SEO best practices while writing, focusing on search intent, headings, metadata, internal linking, and the natural integration of target keywords.

• Maintain consistency in Releaf’s tone of voice, adjusting your style to fit various channels while preserving the brand's identity.

• Generate content that demonstrates true expertise, authority, and trustworthiness (E-E-A-T), referencing credible sources and adhering to current guidelines.

• Self-edit to a high standard for clarity and grammar, incorporating feedback from the Head of Content.

• Ensure all written content complies with regulatory standards relevant to our industry, collaborating with the team to adhere to guidelines.

• Refresh and enhance existing content to ensure ongoing accuracy and optimal search performance.

• Write in a manner that aids Releaf's visibility and citation in contemporary search and AI platforms, with support from the team.

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Content and the broader team to plan, create, and publish content effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in crafting SEO content, whether in-house, at an agency, or freelance.

• Proficient in written English at a native level, with exceptional grammar and attention to detail.

• Background in writing for healthcare, lifestyle, wellness, or other regulated, high-trust subjects.

• Ability to manage your workload independently and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with SEO tools (such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or Google Search Console) and content management systems (such as DATO, Sanity, etc.).

• Understanding of how AI search and LLMs are transforming information discovery.

• Knowledge of content compliance requirements within a regulated industry.

• Strong grasp of on-page SEO principles and search intent.
