SEO, AI Search Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Formulating and executing SEO strategies that enhance rankings and drive traffic in our primary markets;

• Conducting comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to uncover growth potential;

• Identifying and resolving cross-brand keyword cannibalization, while overseeing unified keyword governance across the organization;

• Conducting technical SEO audits and leading implementations (site architecture, page speed, mobile optimization, internal linking);

• Developing and executing scalable link-building and digital PR strategies, focusing on sources that are trusted by both Google and LLMs;

• Keeping track of algorithm changes and proactively adjusting strategies.

• Creating and implementing GEO/AEO strategies to enhance brand visibility in AI-generated responses (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, and others);

• Establishing and maintaining the prompt sets we monitor: category questions, product comparisons, competitor comparisons, and buyer-intent prompts;

• Implementing schema markup, structured data, llms.txt, and markdown resources to facilitate easy reading, citation, and recommendation of our content by AI systems;

• Investigating how AI systems retrieve and cite content, identifying the third-party sources they depend on in our sector, and bridging authority gaps;

• Collaborating with content teams to ensure our content is structured and formatted for visibility, citations, and recommendations in AI;

• Monitoring our brands’ appearances in AI-generated answers in comparison to competitors and continuously optimizing;

• Staying ahead of trends in AI discovery, LLM behavior, Google AI Overviews, and emerging GEO best practices.

• Tracking and evaluating performance across GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Looker Studio, and AI visibility tools, translating data into actionable insights;

• Defining and reporting on KPIs such as AI visibility, prompt coverage, citation share, keyword rankings, organic conversions, and pipeline contribution;

• Continuously refining strategies based on performance metrics and user behavior trends.

• Enhancing Core Web Vitals and user experience metrics to maintain fast and high-performing pages;

• Collaborating with developers to implement technical SEO and GEO enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an SEO Specialist or in a comparable organic growth role;

• Practical GEO/AEO experience: you grasp how AI systems (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity) source, rank, and cite information, and you have attempted to influence it;

• Strong foundational knowledge in technical, on-page, and off-page SEO;

• Capability to structure content and data for LLM visibility, citations, and trust signals (schema, structured data, entity optimization);

• Familiarity with SEO/GEO tools (Semrush, Screaming Frog, etc.);

• Analytical mindset: you can convert GA4 and Search Console data into clear optimization initiatives;

• Regular AI user: you engage with LLMs (Claude) and AI tools to expedite audits, briefs, and analysis;

• Comfortable working alongside content, product, and engineering teams;

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals;

• Full professional proficiency in English.
