Senior Windows C++ Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage native infrastructure.

• Take ownership of significant components within Wand’s Windows native stack and navigate its entirety with ease.

• Make architectural decisions that have long-lasting impacts.

• Create SDK and plugin interfaces that are appealing for developers.

• Consider the application teams as your clientele.

• Produce documentation, examples, and small tools that transition inquiries to the native team into searchable resources.

• Deliver insightful and thorough code reviews.

• Guide mid-level engineers through aspects of Windows that may not be covered on Stack Overflow.

• Influence roadmap strategies with a focus on results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in C++ development, with a significant portion dedicated to tools, engines, or platform-like systems where your end users were engineers, designers, or content creators.

• Extensive experience with Windows native technologies: Win32/64 APIs, DLL lifecycles, hooking, IPC, as well as process and thread management.

• Proficient in concurrent programming.

• Experience with plugins or extensibility.

• Result-driven and humble.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
