This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance complete WordPress websites from the ground up.

• Design scalable layout systems utilizing semantic HTML, Flexbox, and CSS Grid.

• Develop responsive, conversion-oriented page structures across various breakpoints.

• Tailor and stabilize complex Elementor configurations.

• Implement clean and maintainable frontend code that supports long-term scalability.

• Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals, including LCP, CLS, and INP.

• Enhance site speed, stability, and accessibility.

• Assist in schema implementation and adhere to technical SEO best practices.

• Identify and rectify technical issues prior to QA or client review.

• Consistently audit and improve performance metrics.

• Execute PHP-level modifications to boost site performance and plugin functionality.

• Oversee plugin customization, compatibility, and troubleshooting.

• Carry out API integrations within WordPress workflows.

• Manage hosting environments, staging setups, and full-site migrations, including DNS management.

• Diagnose server-level and environment-related challenges.

• Collaborate daily with SEO, PPC, Web Design, and Client Success teams.

• Ensure tracking scripts, forms, and CRM integrations operate seamlessly.

• Maintain organized task documentation and workflow alignment within ClickUp.

• Provide technical advice and QA reviews as necessary.

• Balance rapid delivery with technical excellence and sustainable maintainability.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in web development, preferably in an agency or performance-driven environment.

• In-depth knowledge of WordPress development and Elementor customization.

• Advanced skills in HTML, CSS, Next.js, GitHub, and JavaScript.

• Strong grasp of asynchronous JavaScript and DOM manipulation.

• Experience in optimizing websites for Core Web Vitals and technical SEO standards.

• Familiarity with hosting environments, DNS management, and website migrations.

• Excellent debugging skills and capability to independently solve complex technical problems.

• Proficiency in using ClickUp, Slack, Zoom, and collaborative workflows.

• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure, structured in execution, and dedicated to performance.
