Senior Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Create contemporary, responsive web pages and components utilizing Figma

• Transform business objectives, campaign outlines, and user insights into impactful web experiences

• Partner with marketing, product, and engineering teams to implement and refine designs

• Develop high-fidelity mockups and facilitate a seamless handoff to developers

• Continuously enhance designs informed by performance metrics, user interactions, and testing feedback

• Maintain and advance design systems to ensure uniformity across web platforms

• Contribute to the creation of landing pages, product pages, and ongoing website optimization initiatives

• Infuse innovative ideas and design perspectives into projects, contributing to both concept development and execution

• Balance speed with quality, delivering impactful work in a dynamic environment

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in web design, ideally in B2C, DTC, eCommerce, or performance-oriented settings

• A strong portfolio that highlights web design projects including landing pages, product pages, and marketing sites

• Advanced expertise in Figma, including auto layout, components, and design systems

• A solid grasp of conversion-focused design principles, including CRO, UX fundamentals, hierarchy, and clarity

• Experience in a startup or rapidly scaling environment, with the capability to act swiftly, manage ambiguity, and oversee projects from start to finish

• Ability to execute tasks rapidly without compromising creativity or design integrity

• Strong design intuition and visual aesthetics, capable of enhancing the quality of work rather than merely following instructions

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick iterations and ongoing feedback

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• UI/UX knowledge is an added advantage
