Senior Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Edit Short-Form Social Content - Edit engaging short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook videos) that fosters interaction, watch-time, and shares.

• Adobe Creative Suite Mastery - Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition to create polished, professional video outputs.

• Brand-Led Editing - Grasp and uphold the client’s brand aesthetics by aligning style, pacing, tone, color grading, and transitions with provided briefs.

• Graphic Design & Photo Editing - Develop and enhance social graphics, overlays, thumbnails, captions, and photo assets as needed.

• Music & Audio Selection - Choose appropriate, trending background music and audio tracks that enhance content while remaining platform-compliant and on-brand.

• Creative Storytelling for Reels - Craft engaging 15–60 second reels that capture attention within the first 2–3 seconds and maintain audience interest.

• Asset Organisation & Workflow - Organize media assets, edits, revisions, and versions in a systematic folder structure; deliver files promptly and in the correct formats.

• Quality Control & Collaboration - Collaborate with the creative director, copywriters, and project managers to refine edits based on feedback and ensure quality consistency across all deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in editing social-first video content

• Demonstrated experience working with Western brands or targeting Western audiences

• Strong portfolio showcasing social media reels, short-form edits, and creative video work

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition)

• Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, trending editing styles, and platform-specific nuances

• Capable of photo editing and basic graphic design for social media posts

• Knowledgeable in music licensing, audio levels, and able to select platform-appropriate tracks

• Able to accurately and independently follow creative briefs

• Excellent communication skills in English
