Senior Video Editor, AI Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop impactful game trailers, teaser videos, concept trailers, launch campaigns, and social media content, guiding projects from initial key frame conception to final delivery.

• Turn scripts and initial ideas into refined cinematic videos.

• Utilize generative-art tools for the swift creation and modification of marketing assets.

• Collaborate effectively with marketing, creative, product, and game teams to narrate engaging stories.

• Create motion graphics, titles, transitions, and visual effects using After Effects.

• Edit content across social media formats and platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, X, Instagram, Discord, Steam, and app stores.

• Continuously explore innovative AI tools and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.

• Assist in establishing scalable editing standards and production workflows while mentoring junior editors as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional video editing experience (9+ years preferred) covering both short-form social content and long-form narrative.

• Outstanding storytelling abilities, with a solid understanding of narrative structure and cinematic pacing.

• A strong portfolio showcasing trailers, commercials, branded content, or entertainment marketing.

• Bonus points for experience with viral social content, web series, or feature films.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro at an expert level.

• Familiarity with Capcut is a plus.

• Strong skills in After Effects and motion graphics, including conceptual layout and asset compilation.

• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).

• Proficient in audio synchronization and mixing, color grading, typography, and visual composition, ensuring rigorous quality control and consistency across projects.

• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic startup environment.

• Comfortable managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.
