Senior Unreal Engine Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members, clients, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create an application utilizing the Unreal 4 and 5 game engine.

• Actively contribute to the design and development of the application, from initial prototype to final delivery.

• Write, test, and debug code, as well as profile and optimize it for efficiency.

• Adhere to best practices, development methodologies, and coding standards.

• Document and conduct peer reviews of technical designs in collaboration with fellow software engineers.

• Produce high-quality code with comprehensive comments while maintaining a keen attention to detail.

• Take initiative and demonstrate ownership of tasks as a highly motivated self-starter.

• Exhibit a proven ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and thrive in a small team setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Game Programming, or a related technical field, along with a minimum of fourteen (14) years of relevant experience is required; demonstrable work experience (6 additional years) may substitute for the degree.

• A Secret security clearance is mandatory; US Citizenship is required.

• Proven experience and proficiency in C++ with the Unreal 4/5 Engine (3 or more years).

• Familiarity with version control systems (Perforce, Git, etc.).

• Experience with other Game Engines (Unity, VBS, etc.).

• Knowledge of AR/VR platforms (HTC Vive, Oculus, ARKit, Hololens, etc.).

• Experience in developing for iOS, Android, and/or Windows Mobile.

• Proficiency in C/C++, Objective-C, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, XML, and other programming languages.

• Experience overseeing the life cycle of design and programming for training content from concept to project completion.

• Experience working within an Agile Scrum framework.

• A portfolio or GitHub showcasing examples of previous work is preferred.
