Senior UI/UX Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Oversee the frontend/UI development while remaining actively engaged in coding and implementation.

• Make decisions regarding frameworks and tools while steering the technical trajectory.

• Develop full-stack web applications from start to finish:

• Frontend development and UX design and implementation

• Application logic and workflows

• Basic backend and database integration as required

• Work together with product stakeholders to convert challenges into functional solutions with a product-focused approach.

• Propel technical recommendations and guarantee scalable and maintainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level), with outstanding communication abilities.

• Extensive experience at a senior level in frontend/UI engineering, demonstrating the capacity to work independently.

• Strong analytical skills and a self-motivated attitude — you take initiative and deliver results without requiring extensive oversight.

• Comfortable making technical choices and leading framework adoption.

• Experience in developing modern web applications (not mobile) with a focus on user experience and usability.

• Familiar with our technology stack: - Lit.js - Tailwind / DaisyUI - Some React - Capability to manage full-stack duties when necessary (basic backend/database).

• Product-oriented mindset — you focus on outcomes rather than just tasks.
