Senior UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in realizing the UX vision and strategy set forth by project leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Foster empathy with users by leveraging research insights and engaging in participatory design.

• Generate ideas to craft designs and address user experience challenges.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively convey user experiences.

• Collaborate with quality assurance and development teams to review designs.

• Articulate the design process and rationale clearly to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in UX design.

• A portfolio showcasing your design process and deliverables.

• Must reside in the US and hold authorization to work in the US.

• Must have lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.

• Eligibility for public trust is required.

• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level AA / Section 508 compliance is preferred.

• More than 10 years of overall professional experience is preferred.

• Experience in federal contracting or healthcare IT is preferred.

• Current or past clearance to work with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services or the US Department of Health and Human Services.
