Senior UI-UX Front End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create new functionalities for Telit deviceWISE Workbench and additional deviceWISE offerings.

• Identify and resolve software defects.

• Collaborate with Sales, Technical Support, Testers, Project Managers, and FAEs to devise and implement effective solutions.

• Enhance and support deviceWISE IoT products, focusing on the deviceWISE Workbench desktop application while also engaging in web front-end development.

• Conduct coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting across various operating systems.

• Develop solutions compatible with a range of Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems.

• Organize and prioritize tasks to address intricate technical challenges.

• Take part in architectural design, code reviews, and unit testing.

• Offer application support, analysis, and design for both new and existing applications.

• Collaborate with architects, project management, developers, testers, and other engineers to estimate, plan, design, test, and launch new solutions.

• Provide Level 3 support and liaise with support engineers, management, and customers as necessary.

• Work autonomously while also fostering effective teamwork.

• Adhere to and enhance design, verification, build, and release processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Java Swing with extensive experience in general Java and JavaScript front-end development.

• Familiarity with communication protocols in Java, including TCP/UDP/JDBC/HTTP, etc.

• Experience in a Windows environment with tools for debugging, profiling, and version control.

• Comfortable using Eclipse or a comparable IDE for Java development.

• Knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.

• Proficient in Git for source control management.

• Experience using JIRA for Project and Issue Tracking.

• Understanding of web application front-end development, including Typescript, JavaScript, Angular, and similar technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Over 5 years of experience in Java Swing development (preferred).

• Experience with enterprise-level user interfaces developed with Java (Swing) front-end, handling substantial data from multiple sources (preferred).

• Front-end web development knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience in object-oriented design (preferred).

• Practical experience with the agile development process (preferred).
