Senior UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive design process for intricate UI features, from user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to the final refined visuals.

• Balance both functionality and aesthetics to ensure that UI design complements gameplay mechanics and enhances the player experience by maintaining a cohesive visual language.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration by working closely with the UX team, design, and engineering teams to align objectives.

• Propel innovation in interaction design.

• Guarantee readiness for technical implementation.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to supervise the execution of UI designs and solve any integration issues that arise.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation and style guides to ensure clear communication within the development team.

• Keep abreast of UI trends and innovations, advocating for creativity and new methodologies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in UI design for games, showcasing a robust portfolio centered on player-focused design.

• Advanced proficiency in design tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) for wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.

• Profound understanding of game development processes and the integration of UI with gameplay.

• Experience in mentoring or guiding fellow designers.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities within a multilingual, multicultural setting.

• Familiarity with the cyberpunk genre and the capability to embody its aesthetics in design.

• Openness to learning new tools and methodologies.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality.

• Experience with Unreal Engine (UI implementation, blueprints, and materials).
