Senior Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Efficiently and accurately managing incoming inquiries through various channels (e.g., phone, email, etc.).

• Delivering proactive travel consultation to business clients, which includes offering travel information and upselling related services.

• Independently handling assigned requests and proactively providing support.

• Offering daily assistance to the team.

• Acting as the primary contact for team members, answering queries, and guiding them on policies and procedures.

• Collaborating in project teams on operations-related projects and mentoring travel consultants in the absence of the team lead.

• Proficiently utilizing the necessary BCD Travel tools and systems to fulfill requests.

• Anticipating potential challenges for customers and providing necessary support.

• Responding promptly to customers and giving them full attention to their requests.

• Identifying opportunities to enhance operational processes and customer relationships, and offering recommendations for improvements.

• Conducting quality management tasks such as error oversight and supporting assigned projects.

• Achieving both individual and team objectives.

• Demonstrated experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel sectors.

• Practical expertise in managing crew movements, rotations, and handling disruptions.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to perform accurately under pressure.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, 24/7 service setting.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi-regional operations framework.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry, including its policies, procedures, and processes.

• Advanced proficiency in GDS Amadeus.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities in English.

• Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities at once.

• Demonstrated outstanding professional customer service and problem-solving skills.
