This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Promote authorized indications of BMS products within a specified territory or region to achieve or surpass assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Generate demand for BMS medications by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for their use in suitable patients.
• Sustain and enhance scientific knowledge in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account strategies.
• Utilize CE^3 and other available resources to extract insights and dynamically inform call strategies.
• Deliver approved scientific information to healthcare providers while ensuring medical accuracy.
• Conduct in-office presentations, including lunch-and-learns, with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Organize external speaker events and manage approved speakers, scheduling, and logistics.
• Maintain a strong understanding of emerging data relevant to approved indications.
• Collaborate with Medical on Call for unsolicited inquiries and complex technical questions.
• Work together with other field teams to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Collect and share customer insights internally with the relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with BMS functions to address HCP needs promptly and scientifically.
• Establish and uphold credibility with regional thought leaders, community physicians, medical practices, office personnel, and other patient-care stakeholders.
• Dedicate 100% of time in the field engaging with external customers.
• Adhere to laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
• Advanced scientific degree and/or at least 5 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing roles.
• Capability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and persuasively to physicians.
• Experience in building and sustaining credibility with key customers, office personnel, and customer influence networks.
• Prior experience in cardiovascular-related fields is preferred.
• Strong skills in account management.
• Exceptional selling abilities with a proven history of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions with a positive team attitude.
• Strong selling and promotional skills with a record of performance.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive business outcomes.
• Experience in identifying, engaging, and fostering customer credibility throughout the patient care journey.
• Ability to understand the patient journey and customize engagement with tailored messages.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific and clinical information.
• Strong learning orientation and passion for science.
• Capability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical data.
• Ability to segment HCPs and customize communication and product presentations accordingly.
• Proficiency in using CE^3, CRM tools, and other software to manage compliant data and plan engagements.
• Ability to effectively utilize Medical on Call technology.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to develop, execute, and adapt business plans.
• High integrity and sound judgment.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing issued by the state of residence.
• Must fulfill the Company’s acceptable driving-risk criteria.
• Must operate a Company-provided vehicle in compliance with Qualified Driver requirements.
