Senior Test Engineer, Electronics and Mechatronics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Engage in the requirements management process, responsible for reviewing product requirements.

• Establish relevant test cases aimed at achieving optimal coverage of the specified requirements.

• Develop test scripts in accordance with coding standards while utilizing black-box testing techniques (Test tool utilized - CANoe, Programming language employed - CAPL).

• Generate defect reports and evaluate failures at both the Software and System levels.

• Contribute to the definition and development of core test libraries that serve as the foundation for test scripts.

• Design/configure a personalized test bench based on specifications (test benches can be accessed remotely).

• Collaborate with various external measurement and test condition simulation devices such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, temperature chambers, signal generators, etc. (all external equipment can be controlled automatically from the test tool).

• Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing test automation and the automation of testing processes.

• Establish and maintain test documentation accordingly.

• Actively engage in defining and planning testing activities, collaborating with the team to develop and deliver innovative and Best-in-Class products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Previous experience in Software & System testing.

• Strong understanding of electronics.

• Proficiency in scripting language programming.

• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN).

• Excellent team orientation, analytical skills, and the ability to think creatively.
