Senior Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain automated test coverage across both API and UI layers.

• Create and enhance reusable automation frameworks.

• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Provide support for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Identify and communicate non-functional risks, including performance and stability issues.

• Assist in minimizing production problems by enhancing pre-go-live quality coverage.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery process.

• Aid in defect triage, quality reporting, and making decisions regarding release readiness.

• Contribute to documentation and facilitate handover to support ongoing delivery and business-as-usual (BAU) requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in QA automation or test engineering.

• Significant experience with automation, CI/CD, and building frameworks.

• Proficient in testing APIs and UI workflows.

• Willingness to remain hands-on rather than only functioning as a lead or coordinator.

• Experience in close collaboration with stakeholders while maintaining deep technical knowledge.

• Familiarity with non-functional or performance testing and associated risks.

• Strong grasp of system stability, potential failure points, and release readiness.

• Experience in supporting enterprise-level or complex integrated systems.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Availability to work remotely in alignment with the required time zone.
