Senior Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Formulate and develop detailed test plans, cases, and specifications in accordance with product requirements.

• Engage actively in the daily operations of the scrum team.

• Implement test procedures and methodologies as outlined in the established test plans.

• Evaluate customer-specific "use case" scenarios.

• Review and assess new software products prior to their release.

• Ensure compatibility of devices across various product versions and hardware.

• Provide reporting data for both engineering and customer evaluation.

• Establish and manage test environments and test data effectively.

• Maintain a high standard of quality assurance throughout the software development and testing lifecycle, ensuring all requirements are thoroughly tested and documented.

• Contribute to the overall testing strategy at both the system and support team levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in automated functional end-to-end testing using Java/JBehave.

• Familiarity with continuous integration practices.

• Expertise in planning and creating test cases based on product specifications.

• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to actively participate in the daily activities of the scrum team.

• Excellent comprehension of device interoperability and data reporting processes.

• Demonstrated dedication to upholding high standards of quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Proficient knowledge of various testing methodologies and test case creation.

• Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux) and networking principles.

• Capability to convert technical information into clear and understandable documentation (in English).

• A critical mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo.

• Experience with microservice architecture.

• Exceptional command of the English language, both written and spoken.

• Relevant certification (such as ISTQB) and familiarity with safety-critical environments and adherence to industry standards would be advantageous.
