Senior Test Analyst – Medicaid, Health and Human Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business, functional, and technical requirements to create detailed testing strategies

• Create and sustain test plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts

• Conduct functional, integration, system, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Assess business processes across various modules and integrated systems

• Carry out defect identification, documentation, prioritization, and lifecycle management

• Work alongside developers to troubleshoot issues and confirm defect resolution

• Lead testing workshops with client stakeholders and business users

• Organize testing activities among multiple teams and vendors

• Assist in data validation, reconciliation, and conversion testing initiatives

• Verify APIs, interfaces, file transfers, and system integrations

• Take part in release planning and production readiness tasks

• Support test metrics, quality dashboards, and executive status updates

• Ensure testing complies with CMS, state, and organizational quality standards

• Identify chances to enhance testing efficiency through automation, AI-assisted test generation, and contemporary quality assurance practices

• Guide junior testers and participate in ongoing process improvement efforts

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing

• 3+ years of experience supporting Medicaid, Health & Human Services, healthcare, or government technology programs

• Proficiency in developing detailed test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices

• Experience in executing functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing

• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies

• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Capability to manage testing assignments independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
