QA Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all aspects of QA activities from planning to execution, reporting, and defect management.

• Create and implement detailed test strategies, plans, and cases.

• Collaborate with development, business, and project teams to guarantee high-quality deliverables.

• Manage a variety of testing activities including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

• Lead automation testing efforts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

• Monitor defects, facilitate resolutions, and ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.

• Track testing progress, risks, and quality metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

• Guide and mentor QA team members, promoting best practices and standards in QA.

• Assist in release validation, production testing, and deployment processes.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, security requirements, and documentation protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

• Extensive knowledge of both manual and automation testing methodologies.

• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or UFT.

• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience in testing web, mobile, and enterprise applications.

• Strong grasp of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.
