This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the management of customer nonconformances.
• Facilitate communication among the Fuel Department Manufacturing sites (5 locations) to pinpoint any potential requirements for quality and technical coordination when new customer nonconformance issues arise.
• Lead the coordination and management of nonconformance issues for fuel projects affecting multiple Westinghouse locations.
• Disseminate best practices and lessons learned across Global Manufacturing sites, detailing abnormal situations, report compilation, and the management of corrective and preventive actions.
• Act as the accountable lead for incorporating customer requirements into product and process documentation related to product quality.
• A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or a related technical field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality is required.
• Proficient understanding and application of US NRC Regulations and European Standards are necessary.
• Familiarity with NDE techniques and relevant practices such as SNT-TC-1A, ESPN / RCC is expected.
• Possess engineering expertise and be recognized as a subject matter expert in one or more engineering or manufacturing disciplines, with the ability to lead engineering efforts at the project discipline level.
• Experience in engineering, procurement, and operations within the nuclear sector is essential.
