This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for advanced responsibilities, which include collaborating with program offices, implementing reporting solutions and KPIs, overseeing system integrations, and ensuring adherence to security and regulatory standards for The Office of Naval Research (ONR) Research Protections Division (Code 343) and the Department of the Navy Human Research Protection Program (DON HRPP) contract.
• Key system integration responsibilities encompass: Integrating and maintaining Microsoft 365 technologies such as SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI within the Navy Flank Speed cloud environment.
• Facilitate interoperability between legacy SharePoint systems and contemporary cloud-hosted platforms.
• Configure workflows, dashboards, forms, reporting tools, and automate business processes.
• Oversee APIs.
• Supervise data migration.
• Manage system interfaces.
• Ensure operational continuity during modernization initiatives.
• Handle configuration control.
• Administer deployment pipelines.
• Direct Agile Scrum development activities.
• Administer Change Control Board (CCB) processes, testing, and release management.
• Provide help desk support for Navy and Marine Corps personnel.
• Additional duties include: Implementing reporting solutions and KPIs while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in computer science, information science, information systems management, technology management, or a similar discipline in math, science, or technology.
• Fulfill the criteria outlined in SECNAV M-5239.2, the 'DON Information Assurance Workforce Management Manual.'
• Possess a current and active Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) certification, or an equivalent successor certification.
• Have eight (8) years of experience in developing and supporting management information systems, as well as familiarity with the product lifecycle phases, including analysis and design, coding, testing, documentation, and configuration management.
• Have experience in developing, testing, and troubleshooting MS Power Platform applications.
• Have experience in the administration of Microsoft SharePoint sites and data.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Adobe Acrobat.
• A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Have experience working with DoD or DON systems and management.
• Possess knowledge of Federal, DOD, and DON human research protection requirements.
