This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and source land and power opportunities within your designated regional area through direct outreach, broker partnerships, public filings, utility data, and innovative off-market prospecting.
• Establish and sustain a pipeline of active opportunities, including sites with pending or approved interconnection applications, land options at risk, and landowners looking for a development partner or exit.
• Execute initial site screenings based on Colovore's development criteria, which encompass power availability, substation proximity, transmission access, zoning, and site limitations.
• Cultivate relationships with landowners, developers, real estate brokers, utility representatives, local economic development agencies, and municipal planning offices.
• Ensure precise and up-to-date deal tracking across your territory, regularly reporting on pipeline status, deal terms, and site assessment findings.
• Represent Colovore at regional industry events, broker meetings, and community engagements to enhance brand visibility and deal flow in your area.
• Work in collaboration with Colovore's senior acquisition team to efficiently advance qualified opportunities through the acquisition process.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in commercial real estate, land brokerage, site selection, economic development, energy development, or a related field.
• A deal-oriented mindset characterized by energy, persistence, and creativity.
• Strong prospecting abilities, with comfort in making phone calls, knocking on doors, and establishing relationships from the ground up in a new territory.
• Ability to read and interpret basic real estate documents, utility interconnection applications, zoning maps, and site plans.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a dynamic work environment.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, mapping platforms, and standard business software.
• Willingness to travel regularly within your regional territory.
