Senior Technical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the ongoing upkeep, enhancement, and scalability of Quicknode’s documentation and guides platform, which is based on Docusaurus, guaranteeing reliability, performance, and excellent usability for developers.

• Develop and sustain interactive documentation features, including code execution environments, dynamic parameter systems, authentication flows, AI-driven search integrations, and chain overview experiences.

• Collaborate with Design, DevEx, and Engineering teams to implement frontend improvements, UX enhancements, rebranding updates, and refinements to the documentation platform.

• Ensure that all documentation pages produce clean, structured, LLM-optimized markdown output to enhance discoverability and usability in AI-assisted developer workflows.

• Maintain and expand OpenAPI and RPC specification integrations to facilitate automated documentation generation and validation processes.

• Proactively address dependency issues, security vulnerabilities, build failures, and CMS infrastructure challenges within the documentation repository and CI/CD pipeline.

• Author technically accurate, production-ready developer guides, tutorials, sample applications, and educational materials focused on practical blockchain and Web3 implementation patterns.

• Create and maintain educational resources and developer learning materials covering Quicknode products, APIs, blockchain infrastructure, and emerging ecosystem capabilities.

• Contribute to updates in the changelog, ensuring that all documentation accurately represents the latest product features, releases, and platform improvements.

• Work closely with ecosystem partners, protocol foundations, and internal teams (Product, DevEx, Engineering) to validate technical accuracy and boost developer adoption.

• Review pull requests from fellow writers and contributors, providing editorial, technical, and CMS-related assistance to enhance overall documentation quality and consistency.

• Streamline internal content production processes through automation, tooling improvements, AI-assisted procedures, metadata optimization, and scalable documentation standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in creating technical documentation for developers, including educational content, tutorials, or API documentation targeted at technical audiences.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and contemporary frontend development workflows.

• Practical experience managing documentation platforms or static site generators such as Docusaurus, Next.js, Gatsby, or similar frameworks.

• Experience working within Git-based development environments, including pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, branch management, and collaborative engineering workflows.

• Proficient in writing and validating production-quality code examples in at least two of the following languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Solidity, or Rust.

• Comprehensive understanding of best practices in developer documentation, including information architecture, progressive disclosure, API reference design, and code sample quality.

• Experience supporting documentation infrastructure, CMS tools, dependency management, and frontend debugging in production settings.

• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, Web3 developer tools, RPC services, smart contracts, or related blockchain ecosystems like Ethereum or Solana.

• Background in optimizing technical content for SEO, AI discoverability, and LLM-based consumption patterns, including structured markdown and metadata strategies.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Design, DevEx, and Marketing teams.
