Senior Technical Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the entire training experience

• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to determine learning needs and create precise, relevant training content

• Manage a hybrid training model that incorporates both trainers and subject matter experts to ensure effective technical training program delivery

• Create training materials and oversee logistical arrangements

• Customize training content to meet the specific needs of the audience

• Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions

• Collect feedback, evaluate effectiveness, and continually enhance content

• Equip customers and partners with knowledge through practical training on low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution products

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline

• At least 6 years of experience in the electrical and/or technical industry

• Familiarity with electrical distribution system equipment and applications is strongly preferred

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• Self-motivated and proactive; capable of taking initiative and owning results

• Willingness to travel up to 30% within North America

• Ability to work independently from any location

• Candidates must possess valid work authorization to work for ABB in the US
