This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the comprehensive technical implementation of our imaging solution in various healthcare settings.
• Create and execute scalable, secure integrations among PACS, EHR, and HL7 interfaces to enhance clinical workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate issues related to DICOM, HL7, VPNs, and secure image routing.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to foster enhancements driven by customer requirements and field observations.
• Act as an escalation point for complex support and implementation challenges.
• Mentor and support junior technical services engineers; engage in onboarding and skill enhancement for the team.
• Design and refine internal tools, automation scripts, and monitoring systems to boost operational efficiency.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, SOPs, and content for the knowledge base.
• Represent the technical services team in customer discussions and cross-functional initiatives.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical services, implementation engineering, or healthcare IT support role, preferably within the medical imaging sector.
• In-depth knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and clinical workflows in radiology.
• Practical experience with PACS/RIS systems, modality configuration, and Mirth Connect (NextGen® Connect).
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to independently address high-priority technical challenges.
• Proficient in working with Linux, scripting languages (such as Bash and Python), and APIs.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills — capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Thorough understanding of data privacy and security regulations within healthcare contexts (HIPAA, PHIPA, SOC2, etc.).
