
Senior Technical Advisor – Technology-Enabled Counterterrorism Investigations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct instructor-led training sessions, workshops, and mentorship for investigators, cybercrime units, intelligence personnel, and prosecutors from partner nations.
• Provide guidance to counterparts on technology-driven counterterrorism and counter-radicalization investigations that involve gaming platforms, social media, encrypted communications, and online extremist networks.
• Offer technical advice on the collection, preservation, and chain of custody of digital evidence, as well as case development.
• Mentor investigators in the areas of OSINT, social media exploitation, network analysis, and intelligence-led investigations.
• Assist in the operational use of AI-powered analytical tools, threat intelligence platforms, and digital analytics to enhance investigative capabilities.
• Aid in the creation of investigative standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, tabletop exercises, and practical job aids.
• Facilitate the establishment of multi-agency investigative coordination mechanisms and promote collaboration between investigators and prosecutors.
• Contribute to technical evaluations, after-action reviews, and suggestions for strengthening institutional frameworks.
• A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Law, National Security, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least fifteen (15) years of experience in supporting counterterrorism, cybercrime, intelligence, national security, or technology-assisted criminal investigations.
• Proven experience in investigating terrorist organizations, violent extremist networks, or cyber-enabled criminal activities.
• Experience in providing international technical assistance, training, mentoring, or programs aimed at building institutional capacity.
• Hands-on experience with digital evidence, OSINT, social media investigations, cyber investigations, or technology-driven investigative approaches.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
