
Senior Team Manager, Global Client Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct the daily operations of designated client team members, including performance metrics, accountability, workload distribution, performance assessments, and the integration of Project Management team services.
• Cultivate and enhance the Project Management team through succession planning and personalized development plans.
• Manage project milestones and maintain proactive communication with clients.
• Implement best practices for budget and risk management while ensuring accurate system documentation.
• Coordinate and monitor progress towards Project Management objectives.
• Advise clients on the consequences of their decisions and align project delivery with their definitions of success.
• Promote continuous improvement, quality, and productivity through consistent application, utilization, and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Track and monitor the resolution of client escalations, issues, and concerns.
• Identify, track, and resolve service failures while implementing preventive measures.
• Collaborate across global teams, functions, and boundaries to eliminate obstacles and enhance client delivery.
• Manage and coordinate a regional team alongside global clients to execute team strategies, structures, processes, and metrics.
• Ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, medical, scientific, technical, or laboratory fields.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
• At least 2 years of experience managing leaders who have direct reports.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience leading projects in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in Central Laboratory Services.
• Preferred: A minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical research.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in leading database management, study design, or global project management within the clinical research industry.
• Preferred: A minimum of 1 year of experience in quality event management (CAPA handling).
• Experience in managing leaders and larger teams of 20 or more individuals.
• Ability to inspire effective teamwork and motivate staff in a multi-regional, matrix environment.
• Strong negotiation skills in a global, cross-functional setting.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
• High initiative and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiencies in planning, problem-solving, and organizational execution.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and manage change.
• Experience in team building, influencing stakeholders, and conflict resolution.
• A history of delivering complex projects on time and meeting quality standards.
