Senior Tax

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize tax expertise to manage intermediate level flow-through returns along with all types of individual returns.

• Evaluate basic tax return engagements.

• Effectively analyze business transactions.

• Conduct thorough and efficient reviews of individual and business tax returns while offering guidance to fellow staff members.

• Collect data from clients, the A&A department, and third-party sources.

• Engage in tax research to explore alternatives that meet the client's objectives.

• Address and resolve all outstanding items/issues encountered during assigned engagements.

• Manage and oversee multiple assignments to ensure their successful completion.

• Maintain bottom-line management of assigned engagements and identify individual productivity opportunities.

• Educate, develop, and supervise staff during engagements; assign tasks and responsibilities accordingly.

• Deliver honest, objective, and constructive feedback to staff in a timely manner.

• Collaborate to identify and promote opportunities among current clients.

• Act as a mentor and role model by actively participating in firm committees, departmental matters, and events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in public accounting.

• CPA certification or significant progress towards obtaining it.

• Competence in preparing and/or reviewing a complete set of financial statements.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective time and work management skills.
