This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete U.S. federal and multi-state income tax compliance for a high-volume, multi-entity filing structure influenced by acquisitions.
• Prepare and review tax filings, which encompass apportionment, nexus analysis, registrations, and support for audits.
• Oversee tax calendars, estimated payments, and extensions, ensuring that all filings across jurisdictions are timely and accurate.
• Lead the quarterly and annual tax provision processes (ASC 740), which include current and deferred tax calculations, reconciliations, and support for financial reporting and audits.
• Coordinate international tax compliance for Australia, the UK, and India with external advisors; review filings to ensure they align with the global structure.
• Assist in executing transfer pricing, managing intercompany agreements, and documentation in collaboration with external advisors.
• Collaborate with the Legal team to oversee the global entity structure, including entity setup, maintenance, governance filings, and restructuring activities.
• Work together with Finance on global cash management strategies, focusing on repatriation, intercompany funding, dividends, and optimizing cash tax efficiency.
• Identify and implement tax planning and structural optimization opportunities to enhance global tax efficiency.
• Develop and improve tax processes, controls, and documentation to enhance scalability and audit readiness.
• Assess and adopt tax and/or entity management systems to boost automation, visibility, and efficiency.
• Cultivate relationships with external advisors (e.g., RSM), minimizing reliance on outsourced work while ensuring high technical quality and coverage.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate income tax and multi-state compliance is essential.
• Experience with tax provision (ASC 740) is necessary.
• Exposure to international tax concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with transfer pricing concepts and intercompany arrangements is important.
• Proficiency in tax software and advanced Excel skills is required.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to balance strategic thinking and practical execution.
