This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Prepare federal tax returns for individuals and businesses (1120, 1120s, 1065) across diverse industries.
• Create necessary adjusting journal entries and book-to-tax differences for business tax filings.
• Calculate and reconcile tax depreciation, along with gain & loss assessments and asset roll forwards.
• Assist in the preparation of US international tax calculations and related workpapers, including 5471s, 5472, 8858s, 8804, and 1042s.
• Prepare Texas Franchise Tax reports and state income tax returns.
• Support the preparation of extensions and quarterly estimated federal and state tax payments.
• Engage in tax research projects utilizing available tools and software.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through a dedication to exceptional customer service.
• Address notices from tax authorities and manage tax audits.
• Contribute to various special projects or tasks as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• An enrolled agent license is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in US federal and state tax compliance.
• International Tax experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
• Familiarity with Thomson Reuters Tax Software is a plus.
