Senior Systems Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain the strategy for both manual and automated testing across all levels.

• Take responsibility for the comprehensive testing of a project across all relevant platforms.

• Design and implement test plans and test cases for application functionalities.

• Ensure adequate test coverage, prioritize test executions, and communicate progress and results to teams.

• Enhance QA productivity through automation, tools, and best practices.

• Foster a quality-first culture throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with Telefônica development teams in Brazil and internationally.

• Direct the design, development, and progression of the automation architecture (UI, API, integration).

• Ensure a strategic application of the testing pyramid across products and squads.

• Establish organizational testing standards, guidelines, and governance.

• Support architectural decisions with an emphasis on testability, quality, and resilience.

• Implement Shift Left practices to ensure quality from the design phase.

• Integrate AI into the testing strategy (test-case generation, autonomous tests, risk-based prioritization, self-healing).

• Conduct risk, impact, and technical coverage analysis.

• Operate within complex environments featuring microservices, messaging, and high availability.

• Lead organizational quality initiatives within a SAFe context.

• Mentor professionals across various levels and promote the technical growth of the team.

• Influence product roadmaps, architecture, and quality strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in functional testing, including black-box, white-box, and instrumented testing.

• Experience in creating and executing UI test plans.

• Familiarity with regression, unit, API, integration, and security testing.

• Experience in testing desktop, web, and mobile applications.

• Understanding of agile methodologies and best practices in SDLC.

• Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, management, and stakeholders for requirements gathering and test planning.

• Strong analytical abilities with a focus on problem-solving.

• Customer-centric approach with a commitment to excellence in the end-user experience.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork.

• Resilience and eagerness to continually learn.

• Capacity to challenge established paradigms and propose innovative solutions.

• This position is remote; residency is required in São Paulo - SP or Curitiba - PR.

• Preferred advanced technical qualifications.

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or similar).

• Advanced expertise in test automation (UI and API) and test architecture.

• Strong understanding of the testing pyramid and its strategic application at scale.

• Extensive experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python.

• Deep knowledge of CI/CD processes and complex pipelines.

• Experience in distributed environments, microservices, and critical integrations.

• Mastery of Shift Left practices and risk-based quality methodologies.

• Experience utilizing AI in testing: code generation, failure detection, prioritization, and intelligent automation.

• Proven experience with SAFe or scaled agile frameworks.
