This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the onboarding process for U.S. clients implementing NETGEAR ProAV switches alongside third-party integrations.
• Work in conjunction with the South Central Sales Territory Manager to guarantee successful deployments.
• Provide both remote and on-site training focused on AV-over-IP network design, switch profile selection, PTP configuration, as well as Dante/AVB/Milan configuration and API integration with video setup.
• Create tailored training materials, system designs, and documentation for both internal and external knowledge bases.
• Ensure a seamless transition into production environments, including intricate multi-switch and multi-vendor deployments.
• Deliver advanced on-site troubleshooting for high-profile clients facing complex timing, multicast, or interoperability challenges.
• Capture logs, conduct packet traces, replicate issues in laboratory settings, and provide real-time diagnostics.
• Aid in the commissioning of AV-over-IP systems to ensure consistent production performance.
• Address escalated issues related to AVB, Dante/AES67, NVX, Q-SYS, SMPTE-2059-2, PTPv2, and multicast networking.
• Assist Sales, Business Development, and Channel teams with technical scoping and solution design.
• Conduct both on-site and virtual product demonstrations.
• Help in the creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and system architecture design.
• Provide competitive analysis and technical positioning.
• Contribute technical knowledge to enhance NETGEAR's ProAV presence in the U.S. market.
• Develop and sustain internal scripts, configuration tools, and deployment utilities.
• Create automation tools to minimize troubleshooting time, including log analysis, profile validation, and configuration parsing.
• Author best practice guides, training materials, and knowledge base documentation.
• Represent NETGEAR at industry conferences and partner events across the U.S.
• Facilitate technical workshops and presentations.
• Provide in-depth AV-over-IP education and roadmap overviews.
• Support event-driven network deployments and multi-vendor interoperability demonstrations.
• At least 5 years of experience in networking systems, AV-over-IP technologies, or similar systems engineering roles.
• Profound knowledge of ProAV networking products, AV-over-IP technologies, multicast networking and IGMP, along with switch profile development.
• Strong grasp of routing and switching fundamentals.
• Practical deployment experience with AVB, Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron, SMPTE-2059-2, and multicast networks.
• Field experience in troubleshooting complex AV-over-IP systems.
• Experience in independent lab development and advanced technical self-study.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, AVIXA CTS, Dante, or AVB are advantageous but not required.
• Experience in a Solutions Architect or Systems Engineering role is preferred.
• Must be open to traveling up to 60% within the South Central U.S. region.
