Senior Systems Analyst – Epic Willow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and test a designated Epic module.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of business and system configuration requirements.

• Configure the Epic software in line with decisions made by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

• Complete tasks assigned to the team as outlined in the work plan.

• Report on task completion status to the designated Team Lead.

• Provide timely notifications regarding at-risk milestones and deliverables.

• Analyze, develop, configure, test, and implement Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and associated analytics.

• Execute system configuration tasks utilizing online architectural tools.

• Prepare detailed program specifications and flowcharts, coordinating the system's installation.

• Provide status updates to management as necessary.

• Attend meetings as required and engage in committees as directed.

• Create charts and diagrams to aid in problem analysis and submit recommendations for solutions.

• Serve as the liaison between clinical or business departments and Information Systems.

• Collaborate closely with operational stakeholders to effectively engineer workflow.

• Guide others in adhering to established industry best practices, standards, and quality.

• Maintain a positive demeanor when interacting with department personnel and other City of Hope employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Over 5 years of healthcare experience in a technical, clinical, or revenue cycle operations role.

• Certification in the Epic Willow module is mandatory for consideration.

• Experience in healthcare settings, particularly in acute care, is preferred.

• Prior experience in designing, planning, and implementing clinical information systems is preferred.
