Senior System Administrator – Modern IT Infrastructure Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and execute infrastructure projects independently – from initial technical conception to operational deployment

• Provide 3rd-level support, analyze, and sustainably resolve intricate system issues

• Oversee the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of contemporary network infrastructures

• Assist in the further development of virtualization (Hyper-V clusters), storage solutions (DataCore SAN Symphony), and Microsoft 365 environments

• Manage identity and access with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) along with security solutions and compliance

• Support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (Citrix VAD), Azure IaaS, and virtual desktop environments

• Develop and implement effective security strategies, while monitoring and documenting the system landscape

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in IT, training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker), or an equivalent qualification

• Several years of experience in networking/virtualization, particularly with Citrix VAD, NetScaler, DataCore, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Hyper-V

• Strong understanding of network and security infrastructures (SonicWall, SentinelOne, etc.)

• A team player with a hands-on approach and a passion for new technologies and ongoing development

• Proficiency in German at a minimum of C1 level
