This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Investigate and resolve intricate technical issues.
• Deliver root cause analysis and exceptional technical support.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to replicate and address problems.
• Recognize patterns or recurring technical challenges and promote enhancements across systems and processes.
• Pinpoint areas for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance our products and services.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point within the Support team.
• Mentor and guide support team members in technical competencies.
• Engage in customer discussions that require specialized attention, coordination, and technical leadership.
• Take part in the recruitment and onboarding of new technical support personnel.
• Review and refine support playbooks, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Linux and command-line interface (CLI).
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and hosting technologies (e.g., Linux, networking, DNS, web servers, databases, containers, APIs).
• Proficient technical knowledge in the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud services.
• Utilize coding skills to troubleshoot issues and automate processes.
• Experience with Problem Management and effective problem-solving techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in English and German (knowledge of Spanish, Italian, or French is an advantage).
• Inquisitive, self-driven, and eager to learn new things daily.
• Team-oriented and comfortable working in a distributed environment.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Customer-focused mindset with a calm and structured approach in high-pressure situations.
• Previous experience as a senior support engineer and technical mentor.
