Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Ensure quality standards for designated suppliers, including the execution of quality plans.

• Identify and select suppliers through comprehensive qualification processes.

• Take ownership of supplier performance, driving enhancements through the use of supplier scorecards.

• Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance and develop improvement plans when necessary.

• Analyze straightforward internal and external business challenges, recommending best practices to enhance products, processes, or services.

• Remain updated on industry trends that could affect operations.

• Oversee supplier development by guiding key suppliers towards Quality Assurance.

• Aid suppliers in achieving optimal quality and industrial excellence standards in generators.

• May lead functional teams or projects that involve minimal resources, risks, and/or complexity.

• Convey complex concepts and may shape others' opinions on specific subjects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or its equivalent.

• Substantial experience in Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, or related fields.

• Strong technical knowledge of generators and quality control.

• Familiarity with Quality/Risk Assessment, RCA, Qualification, Commodity Assessment, and Non-Conformance.

• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in German is an advantage.

• Willingness and capacity to travel over 40% of the time.
