This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing on an interactive, web-based weather visualization platform.

• Ensure that features related to weather data (such as radar, map layers, and storm patterns) operate correctly and display accurately.

• Participate in live testing events during tornado occurrences.

• Detect, document, and communicate any bugs or irregularities effectively.

• Work collaboratively with the development team to verify bug fixes and enhance usability.

• Propose enhancements based on your insights into weather data and user behavior.


⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or a related field, or a self-taught weather enthusiast with a thorough understanding of radar maps, forecasting models, and storm tracking.

• Experience with various weather applications and data sources.

• Inquisitive, observant, and detail-oriented, possessing a natural ability to identify discrepancies.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to document bugs clearly in English.

• Proficient with web tools and capable of navigating different browsers and devices.

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with QA methodologies (such as exploratory testing and regression testing).

• Experience with bug tracking or task management software.

• Basic understanding of data feeds or weather APIs.
