• Develop comprehensive media strategies across programmatic, paid social, and emerging channels for US clients, adhering to US planning standards and IAB best practices.
• Convert client goals into channel strategy, budget distribution, timing, and measurement frameworks.
• Manage attribution planning, including foot traffic and closed-loop retail measurement when applicable (Gretel, Measurement Suite, Audience Intelligence).
• Remain informed about the US media environment, supply availability, and privacy/regulatory constraints (CCPA/CPRA and the evolving landscape of US state privacy laws).
• Plan and execute campaigns across DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, and Amazon Ads.
• Understand the supply side: SSP landscape, inventory quality, and DOOH and CTV supply channels in the US market.
• Possess extensive knowledge of US AdTech standards and IAB frameworks: ads.txt and sellers.json, VAST, Open Measurement, MRC viewability and brand safety standards, along with identity and privacy changes impacting US programmatic.
• Formulate paid social strategies across Meta, TikTok, and other significant platforms in the US market.
• Employ measurement and analytics tools to establish KPIs upfront and validate results at the conclusion.
• Manage campaign and service margin. Define scope, pricing, and structure work to meet profitability goals, focusing on more than just expenditure targets.
• Transform repeatable strategies into standardized managed-service offerings that the team can execute efficiently and at scale.
• Create documentation playbooks to ensure delivery is not reliant on any individual’s memory.
• Monitor all proposals: won, lost, reasons, competitors where known, and financials. Implement a structured feedback loop that integrates these outcomes into future strategy, pricing, and packaging. Identify successful patterns and codify them while discarding consistent failures.
• Deliver strategies, plans, and outcomes to clients and internal leadership with a standard that is senior, confident, and clear, matching the level of US-based counterparts. Collaborate closely with US product, data engineering, and commercial teams, ensuring significant overlap in working hours with US time zones.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
• Over 6 years of experience in media planning and strategy with substantial programmatic expertise.
• Comprehensive understanding of the US digital advertising landscape: IAB standards and best practices, the US programmatic supply chain, and current dynamics in privacy, identity, and measurement.
• Practical DSP experience. You have built and optimized active programmatic campaigns, not merely briefed them.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken — essential for a role involving US clients.
• Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities. You can engage an audience in person and during screen shares.
• Proven ownership of strategy from start to finish, including commercial outcomes.
• Strong team player who collaborates well across functions and time zones.
• Professional working proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish (preferred).
• Experience working with US clients or collaborating with US-based teams in a nearshore/remote capacity (preferred).
• Background in retail media and attribution (preferred).
• Experience in productizing managed services or solutions, beyond just campaign execution (preferred).
• Familiarity with agile or scrum methodologies and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) (preferred).
• 6-Month Success Criteria
• Relevant credentials anticipated, or achievable within the first 90 days: The Trade Desk Edge Academy, Meta Blueprint, Google (GA4 and Google Ads), DV360 or equivalent DSP certification, IAB certification (e.g., Digital Media Buying and Planning, or Digital Ad Operations).
