Senior Storage Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee and sustain the SEC storage area network (SAN) infrastructure, encompassing EMC and NetApp systems.

• Conduct daily administration of NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP, involving provisioning, monitoring, and enhancement.

• Guarantee the availability, reliability, and performance of the storage platform for enterprise applications, databases, virtual workloads, and user data.

• Carry out storage lifecycle functions such as configuration management, patching/firmware updates, and operational health assessments.

• Develop and implement sophisticated, vendor-neutral storage solutions in multi-vendor settings.

• A bachelor's degree in a pertinent field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering).

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in managing storage area networks (SAN), with a focus on EMC and NetApp systems.

• Familiarity with NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP software.

• Must hold a NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) certification or an equivalent qualification.

• Proven experience in leading the analysis, identification, and resolution of storage-related IT incidents within enterprise settings.
