This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide assistance and service for BMO’s Investment Operations function, business stakeholders, and clients.
• Implement Investment product and service processes in alignment with financial and regulatory controls and operational guidelines.
• Offer advice to assigned business groups on implementing solutions.
• Support strategic initiatives involving both internal and external stakeholders.
• Address standard and non-standard inquiries from internal business partners and external clients.
• Monitor performance and track issues effectively.
• Analyze data and information to deliver insights and recommendations.
• Collect and format data for regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Assist in executing change-management activities and ensuring sustainability.
• Conduct work and transactions accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with service-level agreements.
• Resolve standard issues and escalate non-routine matters as necessary.
• Engage in continuous process improvement and participate in the planning, testing, and implementation of projects, products, services, and processes.
• Verify and reconcile information and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and meet service delivery expectations.
• Support the development and implementation of new processes and systems as well as enhancements to existing ones.
• Assist in the creation of tools and the provision of training.
• Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions that align with business strategy, policies, laws, and regulations.
• Typically requires 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with relevant systems and technology.
• Comprehensive understanding of the business unit’s products, services, processes, and controls.
• Strong knowledge of business risk and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent prioritization skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Specialized knowledge gained through education and/or business experience.
