This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
β’ Serve as a hands-on technical leader for Scrum teams.
β’ Responsible for ensuring the delivery of technical outcomes throughout the software development life cycle.
β’ Actively identify and address technical challenges and risks.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document effective solutions.
β’ Provide mentorship and training to project team members.
β’ Facilitate coordination among various disciplines to create cohesive solutions.
β’ Conduct comprehensive technical reviews, including code assessments.
β’ Possess an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
β’ Have a minimum of 10-12 years of professional experience in application development.
β’ Accumulate at least 7 years of experience in leading application design initiatives.
β’ Demonstrate working knowledge of cloud-hosted applications, preferably AWS.
β’ Familiarity with DuckCreek products, including Policy, Billing, and Data Insights.
β’ Experience with continuous integration and DevOps practices.
β’ Proficient in Agile development methodologies.
β’ Skilled in designing and developing high-performing applications capable of supporting over 2000 concurrent users.
β’ Understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance concepts.
β’ Candidates must have authorization to work in the US without the need for company sponsorship.
