Senior Staff Software Engineer – Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The lakehouse and its associated streaming ingestion that supports it.

• You will contribute to establishing the multi-year technical vision, designing optimal pathways, and executing the work.

• You will report to the Director of Data Engineering and collaborate with a fellow Manager.

• You will take ownership of the technical direction, application architecture, and the engineering standards.

• You will collaborate with other senior engineers across the larger data platform organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A career focused on building data platforms, not solely pipelines.

• Significant experience in modern lakehouse initiatives.

• Proficiency in Python within a production data-platform environment, with credible expertise in Go or Java.

• A proven history of evolving live infrastructure.

• Experience in overseeing major platform transitions.

• The ability to influence as a key skill.

• A background in mentoring other engineers, including colleagues at your level.
