Senior Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable data processing components and related features for Stellar Cyber’s cybersecurity applications, encompassing areas such as threat detection, incident correlation, threat intelligence, and asset management.

• Candidates who successfully complete all interviews will be allocated to a project area that requires assistance.

• Monitor and address production stability challenges associated with the aforementioned components and features.

• Work collaboratively with machine learning/security researchers, UI/UX teams, and product management to guarantee that the design and implementation meet the evolving needs of the product and align with business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• 3 years of experience in software development or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree in a professional setting.

• 3 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in either academic or industry contexts.

• 2 years of experience in developing backend functionalities, distributed systems, APIs (REST/gRPC), and microservices for machine learning or other data-intensive projects.

• Familiarity with cloud computing technologies, including containerization, orchestration, and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).

• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, Go.

• Strong communication skills for conveying technical details effectively in a text-based medium (e.g., Slack).
