
Senior Staff Engineer – Commercial Field Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in resolving customer issues, managing fleet challenges, implementing service bulletins, conducting monitoring and diagnostics, configuring fleets, and overseeing outage management.
• Analyze OEM and technical manuals as required.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify opportunities for training needs.
• Apply our FLIGHT DECK principles to foster continuous improvement by identifying proactive reliability enhancements.
• Generate data analytics and provide timely reports on production status, program updates, events, and trends to essential internal stakeholders.
• Offer recommendations for proactive maintenance and oversee any required rework to ensure engine serviceability aligns with new aircraft certification requirements.
• Regularly share customer insights with key internal stakeholders to aid in data collection and timely reporting of performance analyses, marketing intelligence, and potential sales opportunities.
• Manage office space requirements, including supplies management.
• Oversee personnel scheduling for the site.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work onsite to support 24/7 operations at the customer site as necessary, including weekends and holidays.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least 5 years of full-time experience in airline operations, maintenance planning, engineering, aviation propulsion, or a related field; or a minimum of a high school diploma/GED accompanied by 4+ additional years of relevant full-time experience.
• In-depth technical knowledge of aircraft engines or turbomachinery equipment.
• Proficient in utilizing software or data analytics to make well-informed technical decisions and provide recommendations to customers or other key internal stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with the ability to address complex problems using sound judgment and critical thinking.
• Capable of leading and achieving results-oriented priorities through strong project management, analytical, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships at all levels, including with key internal stakeholders and customers.
