This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Accountable for spearheading the development and delivery of actionable insights and analyses to address key business inquiries related to bonuses, VIPs, trading, promotions, and more.
• Effectively manage and execute multiple short- and long-term projects in a timely manner.
• Drive the analytics strategy within the Sports Analytics team in partnership with the Sports Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
• Clearly present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, converting quantitative results into actionable business narratives.
• Construct and uphold a variety of complex datasets, reports, and dashboards.
• Oversee analytical efforts to assess, evaluate, and optimize bonus and promotional expenditures.
• Design and assess controlled experiments (A/B and multivariate tests) to enhance incremental business value.
• Develop agents and automations to streamline manual tasks and processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and foster a rigorous, high-performance analytics culture.
• Over 4 years of professional experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and handling large, complex datasets.
• High-level expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R).
• Proven ability to create clear, stakeholder-ready dashboards and visualizations utilizing tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Strong analytical communication skills, capable of conveying complex findings to non-technical and senior audiences.
• Experience leading analytical strategies across commercial operations.
• Background in designing and analyzing A/B or multivariate tests to assess commercial interventions.
• Familiarity with working with large and often incomplete and complex datasets.
• In-depth understanding of the sports and sports betting industry in the United States.
• Previous experience in a regulated sports betting or iGaming environment is preferred.
• Proficient use of the English language in a business context.
